On October 29, Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training and SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations will gather women from across New York State for Connections, a day-long conference to be held at River Vista Center in Fulton from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Cayuga Community College Fulton Campus Tutor Club will host a craft fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 20 at the Fulton Campus, 11 River Glen Drive. The fair will feature a range of handcrafted items by area artisans and goods from direct sales consultants.
The appreciation program is known as the APW Athletic Wall of Fame and serves to strengthen and add distinction to the current athletic program in the District as well as honor individuals who have distinguished themselves as leaders and role models in APW athletics.

City officials are looking at how they can quell the rash of temporary signs that are popping up like weeds all over the city. One proposal would fine the sponsor of the sign if it isn’t removed in a timely fashion. Signs would be allowed only in certain areas and only with approval from the council.

Families turned out in the masses for the second annual Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Elementary School Back To School Picnic. The event was sponsored by the APW Parent-Teacher-Student Association and those in attendance were treated to an afternoon of fun and food.
Toni Lynn Krupa, 26, of Fulton, was arrested on October 3, following an investigation by the Oswego County Drug Task Force, the Fulton City Police and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.
