Oswego County AmeriCorps member Eve Simmonds will be hosting a food drive that will benefit the Catholic Charities of Oswego County Food Pantry. The drive will be held from July 19 through 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Voorhees Park in Fulton. Accepted donations include non-perishable food, such as canned fruits, canned vegetables, rice, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, and pasta.

Anne M. Chatterson, 87, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Saturday July 13, 2013, at St. Luke Health Services.

The public is invited to a reception on July 22 from 6 to 7 p.m. to meet the current keeper, Ted Panayotoff, and enjoy some refreshments.
