The second annual art camp will return July 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 357 State St., Fulton. Students, ages 5-15, choose art, dance, writing or theater followed by lunch provided and afternoon group projects.
The Minetto United Methodist Church will host a free dinner on July 21, serving from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The menu will be hamburgers and Hoffman hot dogs, macaroni salad, baked beans, and dessert. Donations are not expected but will be accepted.
Our Scriba Food Pantry has served thousands of meals over the years to many residents in the town of Scriba. In fact, we’ve given out more than 1000 meals in just the last three months. We have recently lost some much needed funding.
The H. Lee White Museum and Maritime Center, located on the West First Street Pier in Oswego’s Historic Maritime District, has extended its hours to 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Sunday throughout July and August.
For many people the Fourth of July means family time, cookouts, barbeque, and fireworks. This year marks 237 years of independence and the United States being its own nation. At the July 2 Common Council meeting many of the councilors took a moment to say some words about our most patriotic holiday.
Nedrowfest is a family friendly festival for Nedrow and neighboring communities in the parking lot of Eagle Life Center, sponsored by Eagle Life Wesleyan Church and St. Andrew’s Anglican Church. Live music performed by Mike Bolio of Fulton and his band, The Sent Forth.
