Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club held its annual Changing of the Guard recently. The 2012-2013 president Patrick Waite turned over the duties of the office to 2013-2014 president Ed Garrow.
The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified home health care, long-term home health care, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.
The CNY Arts Center has announced last month’s recipient of its volunteer recognition award. The center relies on volunteers to assist with its many activities. It recently initiated a volunteer awards program to acknowledge the work of those who contribute to the center’s mission and goals. The Volunteer of the Month for June is Kendra Matott.
The “4 the Love of Reading” Award was presented to students at the Frederick Leighton Elementary School. Long-time educator Norma Barnes retired from the district several years ago, but her support of her former school continues.

The Harborfest Children’s Committee is looking for youth performers to participate in Oswego’s Got Talent. Oswego’s Got Talent features a visual and literary art exhibition as well as a series of musical youth performances on July 28 at 2:15 p.m. in the Children’s Tent at Novelis Family Park.
