When members of the planning committee for the City of Fulton Employees Annual Golf Tournament met to work on the details for this year’s tournament they wanted to ensure that the proceeds would be used to help youth and families in the Fulton.

The Fulton Public Library is now hosting teen programming. There will be a six-week Summer Reading Program at the library for one hour every Wednesday starting July 10 at 2 p.m. The program is archaeology themed and will feature activities, games and snacks.

Untimely rain moved the Lanigan Elementary School Annual Game Day event from an outside activity to an inside activity, but the rain couldn’t stop the fun.

Nicholas Taormina, 94, of Oswego, died Sunday June 16, 2013, peacefully with his family by his side, in Houston, Texas, at his son’s home.
