Prof. Keeler, the director of the college’s School of Media and the Arts and chair of the Humanities and Communications Division, is the first from Cayuga to hold a SUNY Distinguished Professorship appointment, and is one of only 16 community college faculty to have ever received this distinction of SUNY’s more than 33,000 faculty members.

On June 23 The American Foundry will host a fundraiser to benefit Roger Dolan and his battle against Cancer. Roger has been diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and faces considerable medical bills as he undergoes treatment to beat the disease. The fundraiser will include live music from Frostbit Blue, The Cortini Brothers, Street Level and Daryl and Anna from the Billionaires.
The Lakeside Winterguard hosted the ‘Cancer is a Drag Show’ at the American Foundry in Oswego. “All the raffle money gets donated to Relay for Life, plus the tips from the performers,” said the evening’s host Macy Parade. “The full amount is going to Relay for Life.” Over the course of the night seven drag queens and one drag king performed for the crowd. Each began on stage and then milled around the room collecting tips from fans.
