Youth Court is designed to give middle school and high school students first-hand experience in the judicial process, and serves youth who commit crimes which are not typically addressed in Family Court. Youth Court members hear cases involving juvenile offenders and sentence them to a fair punishment.
Together with the students being honored, an audience of family, friends and campus colleagues of the honorees will witness the procession of faculty presenters in academic regalia, applaud students receiving awards, and hear from 1981 communication studies graduate Rosemary Cardamone Crane.
Oswego State senior men’s ice hockey players Paul Rodrigues, Luke Moodie and Zach Josepher were recognized by D3hockey.com in its season-end awards. The Lakers were the only East Region team to have three honorees.

The Oswego State women’s lacrosse team (4-6, 1-3 SUNYAC) allowed five unanswered goals during a six-minute stretch that spanned through the first and second halves, as Buffalo State (7-5, 2-2) handed the Lakers a 17-10 loss Tuesday afternoon at Coyer Field.
The Fulton School Board adopted the 2013-14 budget Tuesday night. It will be voted on by the public next month. The budget was not adopted unanimously. The vote was 4 yes, 2 no, and 1 abstention. The board members who voted against the budget were concerned about the tax levy increase.
