Edna R. Perchway Nellis, 78, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Oswego Hospital after a sudden illness.
Broadway star Craig Schulman and famed opera singer Eleanor Paunovic, both former students of SUNY Oswego, will perform at the American Foundry in Oswego with pianist Dan Riddle on Friday, April 12th at 8 pm.
To continue compliance with the New York State Comptroller’s Five Point Plan, the Oswego City School District is seeking community members interested in volunteering to assist the district to serve on the District’s Audit Committee.
Bowlers have a chance to win some prize money at this year’s “Lucky 13” Bowl-A-Fun. The annual fundraiser held by Oswego County Opportunities takes place on April 13, from noon – 6 p.m. at Lakeview Lanes. All scores that beat the celebrity bowler will be entered in a drawing for half of the proceeds raised by the contest.
Oswego County Opportunities will hold paper ballot elections for candidates who are seeking to fill seats on the agency’s Board of Directors. The elections will take place April 2 through 4, at various program locations throughout the county. All County residents, with the exception of OCO employees, are eligible to vote.

Casting is nearly complete and rehearsals have begun for CNY Arts Center’s next mainstage production, “Helen Keller.” It is set to open April 26 for a two-week run at the center located in State Street Methodist Church, 357 State St.
SUNY Oswego is pleased to announce that Susan Viscomi has been selected as the next Oswego State Director of Athletics, effective June 1. She comes to Oswego State with more than 30 years of intercollegiate athletics experience as a coach, associate athletic director and, most recently, as Athletic Director at Hilbert College.
