FULTON, NY – Edna R. Perchway Nellis, 78, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Oswego Hospital after a sudden illness.
A native of Prairie du Long Township in Illinois, she had resided in the Fulton area most of her life.
Edna retired from Container Corporation of America after more than 30 years and had previously worked at Sealright Company.
She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Fulton and an avid bingo player.
Edna was predeceased by her son, Bruce Perchway.
Surviving are her husband of 33 years, David C. Nellis of Fulton; step-children, Timothy (Barrett) Nellis, Anthony (Tina) Nellis and Todd (Sue) Nellis all of Florida; daughter-in-law, Bonny Perchway of Oswego; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; siblings, Roland Birkner and Marlene Winkleman both of Illinois; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services to immediately follow at 5 p.m.
Interment will be in the spring at North Volney Cemetery in Volney.

So sorry to hear of Edna’s passing. I will miss seeing her every Sunday at mass, and at Subway right after. She was such a pleasant woman. My condolences to the family.
