The Family Education and Partnership program invites families who have a child with a mental health diagnosis to enjoy an afternoon of free bowling on February 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lakeview Lanes, Route 3 in Fulton.
Oswego State men’s ice hockey player Chris Brown (Centreville, Ont.) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Men’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending February 10, 2013.
The event will raise money for local fire departments and will begin the week of February 11 wrapping up around St. Patrick’s Day. Each account involved will have firefighter helmet cutouts for sale so the customer can write their name on them and hang them up within the establishment. 100% of the money raised will be donated to a department of choice.
Common councilors admit the amended winter parking policy has some kinks that need to be worked out. They say it is a plan in progress. With the help of the public, they hope to fine tune the policy.

Three men are in jail after they allegedly harassed a town of Schroeppel resident. The three men were arrested stemming from their participation in an illegal entry to a town of Schroeppel residence Saturday evening.
The 27th Annual Port of Oswego Authority Mite Invitational Hockey Tournament will be held February 15-17. The Port of Oswego Authority is the major sponsor for the three-day tournament that will take place at the Crisafulli, Cullinan and Campus Center rinks.
