Loren ‘Junior’ G. Clark, 78

FULTON, NY – Loren “Junior” G. Clark, 78, of Fulton, passed away Sunday February 10, 2013.

He was born in Oswego, a son to the late Loren G. and Marjorie Griffin Clark and lived most of his life in Fulton.

Loren was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

He was a floor installer all his life and worked for several local floor covering companies.

Loren was a very dedicated father and grandfather.

He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Joanne M. Clark, who died September 2, 2010; two sisters, Leona Towle and Maryann Coleman; one brother, Theodore “Ted” Clark.

Loren is survived by two sons, Loren Clark of Florida and Douglas Clark of Syracuse; two brothers, Lorie Clark of Baldwinsville and Alan “Butch” Clark of Fulton; five grandsons, Loren R. Clark, III, John P. Clark, Douglas L. Clark, James R. Clark Sr. all of Fulton and Jacob Clark of Florida; one granddaughter, Julia Clark of Florida; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Burial will be in the spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Volney.

  1. My condolences to the Clark family. I’m very sorry for your loss. I haven’t seen Junior in about 55 or 60 yrs. My heart goes out to the family. “Rest In Peace” Junior.
