Honored were three retiring physicians, Obstetrician/Gynecologist Dr. Joseph Mather, Radiologist Dr. Sudhir Guthikonda, Obstetrician/Gynecologist Dr. Ronald Uva and a long-time board member, the Rev. James Tschudy.
Southwest Oswego United Methodist Church will host the third annual Community Thanksgiving Fellowship Dinner on Thanksgiving Day from 1 until 3 p.m. The congregation invites anyone who may not have a place to celebrate Thanksgiving to come and enjoy a great meal and perhaps meet new friends and neighbors
The Oswego State women’s basketball team fought past Hamilton College 76-72 on Wednesday night in a nonconference matchup in Max Ziel Gymnasium. With the victory, Oswego stays perfect on the campaign, improving to 3-0 while the Continentals drop to 1-2.
November is National Runaway Prevention Month. Washington Square Park (East Park) is being used by Oswego County Opportunities this month in order to raise awareness about runaways and the homeless. A group of volunteers braved the elements recently to drive home the seriousness of the situation in Oswego County.
Three Charles E. Riley Elementary School student artists were recognized by the Oswego City School District Board of Education on Tuesday. The youngsters had their creations chosen for display at the recent New York State School Boards Association Conference in Rochester.
