When a Girl Scout is asking you to buy a box of cookies, she is learning skills that will last a lifetime. The Girl Scout Cookie Program runs from February 1 through April 6. Booth sales begin on March 8. Cookies are $4 per box.

An all-you-can eat breakfast, buffet sponsored by the Oswego High School Lady Buccaneer Softball team and hosted by the members and staff at the Oswego Elks’ Lodge #271, will be held at the Elks’ Lodge, West Fifth and Bridge streets in Oswego on January 26 from 8 a.m. until noon.
The next movie will be shown on January 19 at 2 p.m. at First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St. This movie is fitting for the Winter Olympic season.
Tyler Art Gallery at SUNY Oswego will host the 51st annual Juried Student Exhibition starting Jan. 31. The exhibition, running concurrently through March 1 with a display titled “Recollection: A Memory Loss Awareness Project,” will open from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 31 in Tyler Hall with a free public reception featuring the student artists.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours of more.
Rotarian Judy Young introduced Sophia Giovannetti and James Bailey to the members of the Fulton Rotary Club at a recent meeting. Both students are seniors, members of the National Honor Society, active in many school, sports, and community activities.
