Lois Luber, resource development director for the United Way of Greater Oswego County, has announced that a number of area businesses have signed on as sponsors for the United Way’s 19th Annual Golf Classic.

The Friends of the Oswego City Historian met recently to offer congratulations to newly appointed historian Mark Slosek, and to thank historian emeritus Lou Iorizzo for his valuable contributions during his tenure as Oswego City Historian. The group reviewed and discussed updates to the website, and brainstormed a list of types of articles about Oswego’s history that would be of interest to the public.
Time to get imaginations fired up for a summer of art fun at CNY Arts Center located at 357 State St. through the Park Street entrance. Registrations are now open for camp and all summer classes.
Kicking off the summer will be a week of dance classes with Jennica Vehrs for ages 5-15, July 7-11, from 9 a.m. to noon.
