Cooperstown is famed as the home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum which is celebrating its 75th anniversary. The attractive village has many attractions including the Glimmerglass Opera, the Farmers’ Museum, and the Fenimore Art Museum. What caught me by surprise was the Cooperstown Dreams Park. The baseball team our grandson plays on in Las Vegas was invited to play at the Dreams Park; of course, my husband and I had to go to watch.

“Abby and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Maya Elizabeth Maffei,” said Rep. Maffei. “Maya was born at 6:23 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2014. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. Both mother and child are doing terrific. Maya is the biggest little birthday present I could have ever dreamed of, and we are so delighted to welcome her into the world.”

Two-time and defending Budweiser International Classic champion Bob Bond has registered for Fast Friday testing at Oswego Speedway and is expected to contend in the Speedway’s Novelis Supermodified Grand Prix 75 main event on Saturday presented by Seminis, Fleet Pride, and Canale Insurance.
