In a year of first time winners at Oswego Kartway, Ron Ingison and Rusty Natoli added their names to the list last Friday night at the Bullring. Ingison, driving his No. 114 in Clone Heavy, would actually double up on the night picking up wins in the RJ Kart Sales Battle at the Bullring make-up main as well as in the regular 25-lap Chavis Motorsports main on Friday.
On October 28, Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training and SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations will gather women from across New York State for Connections, a day-long conference to be held at River Vista Center in Fulton from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Some east side residents were surprised Tuesday evening to find a black bear wandering through their city neighborhood. Fulton Police responded to the call in the 700 block of Cayuga Street and called the state Department of Environmental Conservation for advice on how best to deal with the bear.

17-year-old Anna-Rose Shove’s death has been determined to have been due to drowning, according to the Onondaga County Medical Examiner. The manner of death is pending further investigation. Troopers are interested in anyone who may have seen the victim Sunday afternoon; particularly one man who was seen speaking with several women along the beach.
