UPDATE 10:15 a.m.: The female was identified as Anna-Rose M. Shove, 17, from 5802 Lanson Road Ontario, NY, who had been camping at Brennan’s Beach with her family. If anyone has any information or may have seen Anna yesterday at Brennan’s Beach, they’re asked to contact State Police Investigators in Pulaski at (315) 298-1470.
Oswego native Owen Benjamin and his buddies, renewed for a third season of “Sullivan and Son,”invent a new beer called “Owenbrau” on Turner Broadcasting System. Maybe some of our local establishments can get the recipe for “Owenbrau” and serve it in Oswego.

Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway all their hard work and late nights in their Syracuse race shop paid off as Chris Hile won his second career Fulton Speedway Big Block Modified feature. Milo M. Jenson 82, a resident of Oswego, passed away Wednesday August 6, 2013, at his camp in Long Lake, NY.
On Friday (Aug. 8) afternoon Joe Fiumara, director of the Fulton Community Revitalization Corp (FCRC) opened the sealed bid packages to select the company to begin dredging the accumulated sludge from the lake bottom. “Groh Dredging is $118,965.20,” Fiumara read from the bid pack. “That’s in the budget,” Mayor Ron Woodward said.
