Fulton Speedway officials said the recent warm weather was a huge help in getting rid of the final remnants of the long, past winter. Everything is a go to get the 2015 racing season into high gear. This Saturday, April 18, the speedway will have a Test-And-Tune that will be open to any car that runs dirt.
Assemblyman Will Barclay and members of the Rural Health Network of Oswego County are teaming up to host a blood drive on May 1. “Giving blood truly saves lives. In fact, one donation can save up to three lives. Anyone who experiences a health problem like cancer or a heart transplant needs blood transfusions. The Oswego County Legislature’s Economic Development and Planning Committee presented a certificate to Tim Carroll, chairman of the Oswego County Environmental Management Council, designating April 22 to 28 as Earth Week 2015.
At Monday night’s meeting the Common Council approved Local Law #3 of the year 2015, amending Chapter 224, Taxation, of the Code of the City of Oswego.
