Midtown Plaza Parking Garage Demolition To Start

“After consulting with our engineers we have determined the upper deck is beyond repair and must be demolished,” said Louis Fournier III, president of The Sutton Companies. “The work will be completed in two phases. The first phase includes installing temporary fencing, steel bracing and other temporary protection measures to keep the site safe and prepare for the removal of the upper deck. This phase will begin on Monday, May 18.”

He told of the magnificent river and the bountiful area.

OCO Salutes Recipient of Distinguished Volunteer Award

Oswego County Opportunities recently honored a longtime volunteer with the Distinguished Volunteer Award for going above and beyond in offering his time to support the agency’s fundraising efforts. Henry “Hank” Wood, the husband of OCO Administrative Assistant Diane Wood, has helped with the agency’s annual Bowl-A-Fun for many years.
