Graveside services for Jesse Jordan McNitt were held Tuesday May 5, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
Betsy Conners, the executive director of Instruction and Assessment for the Fulton City School District, congratulated the students for portraying the monthly virtue of self-control. She also recognized students who didn’t earn the monthly distinction as role models but still offered support and words of encouragement to those who took home the honor.
The Oswego County Legislature’s Government, Courts and Consumer Affairs Committee presented Dana Seinoski with a certificate of appreciation for her 15 years of service.
Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Elementary School recently held a special showcase of talent in the high school auditorium when APW Has Talent took the stage. Forty-eight talented performers took the stage in more than 30 separate acts to showcase the myriad of talent in the school.
The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation is one of 131 school districts and Board of Cooperative Educational Services in New York State to receive the Utica National Insurance Group’s “School Safety Excellence Award” for 2015. The honor, presented annually, recognizes school districts’ safety efforts as they work to help keep students, staff and visitors safe.
Members of the Pulaski Middle/Senior High School LEO Club recently spent the afternoon picking up around their school in an Earth Day community service project. The members divided up into teams and picked up around the front of the school, the football/track area, baseball/softball field and tennis courts.
The community is invited to watch a newly released movie at First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., on May 17 at 2 p.m. Admission is free. Popcorn and soda will also be served free of charge.
