The three candidates for the two seats on the Oswego City School District Board of Education answered questions from the public Tuesday night. Tom DeCastro and Lynda Sereno are seeking to retain their seats. Former board member Fran Hoefer is looking to unseat one of them.
On May 5, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Fulton, arrested Dr. Dilip K. Roy, 50, from Baldwinsville, for one count of Rape in the 3rd degree, a class “E” felony. Dr. Roy was arraigned before Volney Town Justice Aluzzi and was released on his own recognizance.
The Oswego County 4-H Program is still accepting enrollments into its Shooting Sports Program. The Oswego County Shooting Sports Program is six weeks long and open to youth ages 12 to 19.
John T. Sushereba, 70, of Fulton died Tuesday May 5, 2015, at Oswego Hospital.
