Children must turn four years old on or before December 1, 2015, to register for our Universal Pre-Kindergarten program; and children must turn five years old on or before December 1, 2015, to register for Kindergarten.
The deadline is rapidly approaching for the “About Boating Safely” class scheduled during Oswego Harborfest. The one-day class is sponsored by the Brookfield Renewable Energy Group and runs from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a lunch break at noon, on July 26.

The hearing will be at 7:10 p.m. July 27 in the Council Chambers at City Hall, West Oneida Street. The purpose is to discuss the city’s intent to apply for New York State Community Development Block Grant funds through the Regional Economic Development Council’s consolidated funding application. Oswego intends to apply for the funding to address the city’s infrastructure needs.
Ruth A. Woodworth, 79, a resident of Oswego, died Monday July 13, 2015, at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare in Utica, NY.
