According to the County Health Department, spraying for mosquitoes is expected to take place Friday evening in the towns of Constantia, Hastings and West Monroe.
State Street United Methodist Church will host a haircutting and bake sale event to benefit the Roof Fund. The event is set for August 27 from 3-8 p.m.

SUNY Oswego has made Deans’ Awards to a select group of students who are starting at the college in fall 2015. The scholarships are $6,000 over four years. For non-New York state students, the total award can increase to as much as $38,000 in combination with a Destination Oswego scholarship.
