Oswego County 911 received the call early Sunday morning regarding the crash. Emergency crews responded to State Route 104B and County Route 1 at about 6:15 a.m.
100 energetic women packed into Pathfinder Fish and Game Club recently to test their aim with multiple different firearms. The third annual Ladies Rule the Range event saw great success and reached the desired goal, 100 participants. Starting out with 50 women in its first year, the event grew into its second year with 81 women participating. With more than 40 instructors, the ladies were very actively and accurately briefed on the handling of seven separate stations of firearms.

Today’s (Aug. 2) meeting was a smaller than usual group. Twelve members weighed in, five of them KOPS who are all under goal. Joyce was the Best Loser of the Day. Best Loser for the month of July is Mary. We were happy to see Jackie today. With her work schedule it isn’t always possible for her to weigh in.
Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway fans were greeted with great weather and close racing on the ‘High Banks’ that featured close racing, win streaks and first time winners. In the Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds, Tom Sears Jr. took the lead from Chad Phelps on lap 20 and then had to hold off furious challenges from first Pat Ward and then Billy Decker to win his second popular feature of the year.
The committees will start at 5 p.m. in the board room of the Education Center. A regular board meeting will follow.
Several area residents enrolled at SUNY Oswego took part in off-campus internships in summer 2015 through the college’s Center for Experiential Learning.
