Students in the Beta Tao Iota chapter of Phi Theta Kappa on the Fulton campus of Cayuga Community College teamed up with the support of Fulton’s Tutor Club, Business Leadership Club, and the Veterans’ Club to raise funds and collect donated non-perishable food items to sponsor eight deserving families from within our own student body.

Daniel Carlton, a long-time bell-ringer and volunteer for the Salvation Army is being honored this month by Recognizing Oswego County as their Community Champion. “Few things remind me more of the holiday spirit than the volunteers who ring bells to raise funds for the Salvation Army,” said ROC member Tammy Elowsky.

Mike McCrobie and Laura Bateman, coaches of softball and lacrosse respectively, presented information relating to field trips for their teams in March.
Oswego County STOP-DWI Coordinator Robert Lighthall announced that Oswego County police agencies will participate in a special enforcement effort to crackdown on impaired driving.
