Oswego County women who served in the military during World War II, the Korean War or the Viet Nam War have the opportunity to take part in a special Honor Flight trip to the nation’s capital through the Albany area Patriot Flight program. Patriot Flight is a hub of the National Honor Flight Network that serves the Albany area. The May 14 flight is designated for women veterans from World War II through the Viet Nam War and is open to Oswego County residents.
Don’t worry about Snickers’ eye. It’s fine, she just ALWAYS closes at least one eye when you try to take her picture. She is a pretty muted calico tortie with an impish personality. She’ll play with people, just not “up close” – so laser pointers and fishing pole type toys are her favorites. She happily sleeps with the other cats in her foster home and plays with them, too.
