More than 125 volunteers will “Brave the Shave” this Sunday as they raise money to beat childhood cancers at this year’s 10th annual S. Baldrick’s Day in Oswego County. Hannibal Man Facing Multiple Charges Following Traffic Stop

At about 10:05 a.m. today State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 690 in VanBuren for a traffic violation. The operator wasn’t able to provide identification and gave a name and date of birth. Investigation at the scene revealed he had provided a false name and date of birth, and he was positively identified as Thomas Simmons, of Hannibal, police said. Further investigation revealed he was also allegedly in possession of heroin.
