A handful of Novelis Supermodifieds have taken laps at Oswego Speedway since last Friday in anticipation of this Friday’s CNY Chevy Dealers Qualifying Night at Budweiser International Classic Weekend with Pat Lavery and defending Classic champion Bob Bond so far leading the speed charts. Lavery leads the way as of Tuesday evening, driving the Graham Racing No. 12 Xtreme Supermodified with a lap of 16.403 seconds.

At the Fulton Speedway it means two things, the crowning of track champions and the start of gearing up to the kick off of Super DIRT Week with the 31st annual Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 Weekend presented by SUNY Canton at the speedway.

CiTi released its first-ever “Central New York Deaf/HH Teens” magazine featuring the biographies, struggles and successes of teens who are hard of hearing. “Our purpose for the magazine was to highlight the talented deaf teens of CNY while also expanding the reader’s knowledge of deafness,” said CiTi teacher of the Deaf/HH Tamara Seymour.
Five individuals unlawfully broke into a North Sixth Street residence and while inside a physical altercation ensued and property was damaged, according to the report. One suspect remains at large.
