Sunoco Partners with Friends of Great Bear, CNY Land Trust
On Oct. 26, Friends of Great Bear and CNY Land Trust were invited to tour the Sunoco Ethanol Plant located in Volney. The plant, spanning more than 90 acres, produces nearly 85 million
gallons of ethanol yearly. 350 million pounds of CO2 are captured and resold for use in manufacturing and other industries.
