OSWEGO, NY – Helen Swinson, 82, of Oswego, died Monday October 31, 2016, in Oswego Hospital.
She was born in November 1, 1933, in Fulton, the daughter of the late Richard and Marie (Elkin) Barton.
Mrs. Swinson was predeceased by her husband, Cloudie Swinson, in 2007; sons, Ronald Swinson and Claude Swinson; and daughter, Yvonne Nye.
Mrs. Swinson was a loving mother and is survived by her children, David (Yon) Swinson of Tennessee, Rodney Swinson of Batavia, Michael Swinson of Oswego and Gregory Swinson of Alabama; her sister, Agnes Familo of Florida.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Hana, Sana, KatieMarie, LeeAnn and Zachary.
Funeral services will be held Friday 9:30 a.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.
Calling hours will be conducted Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego, NY 13126.
