‘Tunes’ Supports Toys for Tots
Toys For Tots of Oswego County will hold its annual Tunes For Tots this month. The event will take place December 14 at The American Foundry, 246 W. Seneca St. from 5 to 10 p.m. Toys For Tots’ sole purpose is to provide brand new unwrapped, non-violent toys and new books to the many children of the community.

The nation’s top-ranked team, the Oswego State men’s ice hockey team, dominated Morrisville State College 8-1 at home on Saturday night. Nine straight wins to open a season is the Lakers’ best mark since the 2010-11 group won its first 12 contests.

The nationally-ranked Oswego State women’s ice hockey team made it five straight victories with a 6-1 win over SUNY Canton on Saturday afternoon in the Marano Campus Center Arena. Oswego is now 11-1-0 overall.

The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team posted a lopsided 10-0 victory over visiting SUNY Canton on Friday night in the Marano Campus Center Arena. Oswego was powered by a five-goal second period, its most goals in a period since posting six tallies in the third period of a 9-3 triumph at Chatham University on Jan. 14, 2012.
