The Hannibal Historical Society will be selling the book, “The History of Oswego County, New York” on January 23 between 4 and 7:30 p.m. at the Hannibal Community Center located on Oswego Street in the village.

Paul V. Moore High School students have character. The school recently celebrated the character trait responsibility. Students were recognized for their accountability, dependability and independent actions.

Art students in the Phoenix Central School District recently earned recognition for their work as part of the Scholastic Art Awards program. The annual effort honors Central New York students in grades seven through 12 for their artistic accomplishments.

State Senator Patty Ritchie met recently with members of the North Country Library System and Northern New York Library Network to discuss ways to work together in an effort to strengthen libraries and expand the resources they provide to patrons.

Each month, the Fulton Noon Rotary Club invites two high school Honor Students for lunch. Youth Activities chair Judy Young presented the two high school students of the month, David Houck and Paige Rowlee.
