Cemeteries might not seem like a likely place to visit as a tourist but they are. Some people visit cemeteries to pay homage to presidents, artist, poets and other influential individuals. Others go to admire the art and architecture, while still others find the beautifully landscaped gardens a place to reflect.

The Oswego County Land Bank Corporation announced today (March 24) that the organization has been selected to receive a Land Bank Community Revitalization Grant. The award comes from a bank settlement agreement negotiated by New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and will be managed by Enterprise Community Partners, Inc.
The Oswego Head Start Pre-K Program recently expanded and now offers three classes: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Provided through Oswego County Opportunities, the Head Start Pre-K Program is available in all nine Oswego County school districts.
