Twice an International Supermodified Association and Oswego Speedway Supermodified track champion, Joe Gosek is ready to relive the days of old as he prepares to compete in wing and non-wing Supermodified action as a part of the inaugural Shea Concrete Triple Crown Championship Series presented by ASI Racewear.
“Stepping On,” a workshop designed to help participants improve their balance and avoid falls is now accepting registrations. “Stepping On” is an evidence-based program proven to reduce falls in older adults. The workshop will be presented for two hours, once a week, for seven weeks at Bishop’s Commons in Oswego.
Dozens of local students displayed their knowledge and demonstrated their engineering skills recently during the third Oswego County Academic Youth League challenge of the school year. The competition, dubbed “Build, Build, Build,” required students to work together to accomplish a variety of engineering tasks.
Children entering kindergarten in September 2017 must be five years of age on or before December 1, 2017, but parents may wait until the child is six years of age to register their child in school.
