Students at John C. Birdlebough High School recently received a lesson in inclusion and adaptability during physical education classes facilitated by Move Along Inc. The organization aims to provide adapted recreational opportunities for people who live with disabilities in Central New York.
The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.
The Fort Ontario History and Archaeology Conference will be held at the Great Lakes Event and Conference Center at the Best Western Hotel in Oswego. Renown historians will speak at the conference, which explores the history and archaeology of warfare and human conflict in the United States and Canada from its earliest evidence around 5,000 BC to the 21st century War on Terrorism.
Scheduled for March 10 the CAC Wing Fest will be held at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, East First Street in Oswego 6 to 10 p.m. with wings being served from 6 – 9 p.m.
Colgate University Class of 2019 member MaKenna Cealie has earned the fall Dean’s Award with Distinction. The Dean’s Award with Distinction at Colgate is awarded to students with a 3.6 or higher term average.

Joseph J. Paeno, 72, of Oswego, passed away at his home on Tuesday March 7, 2017, after a long illness.
