Michael J. McManus, 62, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse following complications due to cancer.
Roy Westcott, 87, of Baldwinsville, NY, who lived in many other locations, died Monday February 27, 2017.
Kenneth L. Wilson, 48, of Fulton (town of Volney), passed away on Monday February 27, 2017, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, Syracuse.
Cajun music filled the air as the residents of Morningstar Residential Care Center donned colorful masks, beads and hats and enjoyed some jambalaya as they celebrated Mardi Gras in Morningstar’s Great Room.
The Oswego Lions Club will hold its 19th annual Wine and Beer tasting with Silent Auction March 31 at the American Foundry in Oswego. The event is scheduled for 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., with pre-sale tickets $15 and $20 at the door the night of the event.

Operators returned Entergy Corp.’s FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant to full power operation today following a refueling and maintenance outage that began on January 14. During the outage, more than 1,600 workers replaced about one-third of the reactor’s fuel and upgraded equipment, readying the plant for continued safe and reliable operation.
