He is a little more than a year old, friendly, sweet, with a beautiful soft coat and gorgeous golden eyes! He is playful, healthy and outgoing! He even comes when he’s called! Because of a urinary tract infection when he was younger, he does have a special diet of dry food.
Breezy and milder with rain showers likely today. High in the upper 40s.
The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau will host a winter break bowling event Feb. 23, at the Lighthouse Lanes, 295 E. Albany St., Oswego. Bowling begins at 11a.m.

The Department of Social Services is looking for people who would like to become foster parents, particularly for children ages eight and over who may have special needs for supervision.
They collected donations of non-perishable food items to help the food pantries at the First Presbyterian Church in Mexico and the Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski meet the needs of all those in the community seeking assistance. In addition, this year’s food drive gave them an opportunity to help our fur friends at the Oswego City Animal Shelter by providing them with much needed pet food and supplies.
Last year, the Assembly Minority Conference hosted a series of forums across the state to better understand the often complex problems associated with domestic violence. During these forums, victims, advocates, service providers, law enforcement, and court personnel provided valuable insights that illustrated how our laws can be improved. As a result, my colleagues and I have recently introduced a package of bills that, if enacted, would close gaps in current law and provide law enforcement with tools they need to ultimately better protect victims of domestic violence.
The Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning has been awarded funds to provide a manufactured housing replacement program for eligible veterans. Funding for the Oswego County Veterans First Manufactured Housing Replacement Program is provided by the New York State Office of Community Renewal Housing Trust Fund Corporation.
