Evelyn M. Secor, 93, of Fulton, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at St. Luke Health Service in Oswego.
The arrest stems from the investigation into incidents that occurred between late summer/early fall of 2008 and May 2009 at a town of Granby address. He allegedly engaged in numerous encounters of sexual contact with two separate victims, both being less than 11 years of age.
It has been a few months since we have updated everyone on our news by way of column and blog. The newsletter went out in late November and brought in nearly 350 renewals to membership, to add to our existing pool of life members. We are indebted to all of our supporters! The next quarterly newsletter is in the works and, under the lead of Sharon Turo, will go out on time before March 1. Our first meeting for 2018 will be on Saturday, March 31.

A fatal snowmobile accident is under investigation today (Feb. 8) in the town of Granby. Sheriff’s deputies responded to Pratt Drive, off Bingham Road, around 5 a.m.

The First United Church of Fulton will be open for prayer, reflection and the dispensing of ashes on Wednesday, February 14, from noon to 1 p.m. There will be a soup supper at 6 p.m. and a worship service beginning at 7 p.m. Ashes will also be dispensed during the worship service.
