Oswego Minor Hockey Association and Arc of Oswego County to Host a Free Skating Event

Oswego Minor Hockey Association and Arc of Oswego County invite local families to the eighth annual “Skate and Slide” event. Skate and Slide is a fun, free opportunity for children with disabilities to safely explore the ice with their families and local hockey volunteers. The event is open to children and their families on March 17 from 10 a.m. to noon at Fort Ontario Rink (Crisafulli Rink) in Oswego.

On January 10, in a blink of an eye (or stub of my toe) my life changed. On that day, I fell at work and fractured and dislocated my right hip and fractured my right humorous bone of my shoulder. Not my best day.After hip replacement surgery on January 15 and a four-day stay in St. Joe’s Hospital, I was moved to rehab. I was accepted by Seneca Manor.
