Bishop’s Commons in Oswego will host its first in a series of monthly “Learn and Lunch” events on the fourth Thursday of every month, with the inaugural event on March 22 from noon to 1 p.m. Each monthly “Learn and Lunch” event will feature a half hour educational program followed by a free lunch that includes soup, salad and dessert served in the Grand Dining Room.

State Police continue to investigate the 1964 murder of 69-year-old Lucy Dade Forrester in the village of Frankfort. On February 20, 1964, Forrester was found murdered in her small variety store located on South Litchfield Street in the village of Frankfort. Mrs. Forrester lived alone in an apartment over the store and ran the store by herself.
