At the port’s annual meeting, Amy Tresidder was elected as chair of the board. In addition, Ken Stevens was elected vice chair and Gerald Brown was elected secretary/treasurer. On Thursday, April 5, at approximately 5:32 a.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department’s Emergency Services Unit and the Fulton City Police Department, executed a narcotics related search warrant at 516 Seward St. in the city of Fulton. As a result of the search warrant execution, approximately 15.8 grams of cocaine, 496 prescription pills, dilutants and digital scales were seized, police said.
Bishop’s Commons in Oswego will host its next in a series of monthly “Learn and Lunch” events on April 26, from noon to 1 p.m.
Each “Learn and Lunch” features a half hour educational program followed by a free lunch that includes soup, salad and dessert served in the Grand Dining Room.
