Oswego’s Blessings in a Backpack program will hold a drive-through chicken barbecue beginning at 11 a.m. June 2, at Church of the Resurrection, 120 W. Fifth St. All proceeds will go to feed hungry bellies among Oswego’s schoolchildren during weekends and school breaks in the coming academic year.
Calling all volunteers! Join AmeriCorps workers at Independence Trail in Scriba for some spring cleaning. Independence Trail is a 70-acre property the rests alongside Lake Ontario shoreline. It is also one of the only hiking trails in the county that is ADA accessible.

This (May 8) game was dedicated to our beloved trainer Michele Wink and we were honored to be able to have her husband, Tim, at the game. It meant a lot to get the win tonight and to have him and so many family and friends who came out as well.

Mary A. Latino, 95, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.

Anna Goss will be buried with a committal service officiated by Rev. Guy Baccaro May 17 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
