Openings Still Available for 2018-19 Universal Pre-K Program In Oswego School District

Several Universal Pre-Kindergarten half-day programs in the Oswego City School District still have openings available for the 2018-19 school year. Due to a lack of requests for the afternoon program at Leighton and feedback received regarding interest for an afternoon program at Minetto, the district has decided to cancel the PM class at Leighton and add a PM class at Minetto.

Provost’s Award Honors SUNY Oswego Poet, Teacher Laura Donnelly

Poet Laura Donnelly of SUNY Oswego’s English and creative writing department has earned the 2018 Provost’s Award for Scholarly and Creative Activity. Donnelly, winner of the Cider Press Editors’ Prize for “Watershed,” her acclaimed 2014 book of poetry, will be recognized this fall during the college’s Academic Affairs Retreat.
