The Oswego County Office for the Aging will host a free training session June 15 for those interested in learning how to respond to opioid overdoses. The training will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Oswego County Health Department Training Room on the first floor of the Nick Sterio Public Health Center, 70 Bunner St.

Fulton city officials came together to discuss a final application submitted to the Central New York Regional Economic Development Council in the hopes of being the $10 million winner of the third round of Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) funding from Governor Cuomo. Having applied for the past two years, city officials are confident that this application is capable of winning. Joe Fiumara, the Director of Fulton’s Community Development Agency said the application is, “the best application we’ve put together so far without a doubt.”
One of the most popular racers with the fans at the Fulton Speedway, Pat Ward from Genoa, NY, won the exciting Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar 358 Modified feature Saturday night. Ward would first battle teammate Larry Wight for the race lead and then would hold off a hard-charging Tim Sears Jr. in a drag race to the finish exiting turn four coming down to the checkers in the 35-lap feature.
