Pet of the Week – Lip
Lip has a very unusual story. She was found outside, hungry and in pain with what looked like a bite injury to her mouth. The vet diagnosed healing ulcers in her mouth and lips (hence the name), apparently caused by a virus. She was given good care and is now all healed and healthy and ready for a forever home!

Following two ‘twin’ format events in three races to begin Oswego Speedway’s ‘Road to the Championship,’ the Novelis Supermodifieds will now compete in their first 75-lap extra distance main of the season alongside a 35-lap special for the Pathfinder Bank SBS as part of this Saturday night’s Independence Weekend ‘Grand Prix’

Working To Fight Insect-Borne Diseases This Summer
Summer is finally here and people are getting back outside to enjoy the warm temperatures and beautiful scenery here in Central and Northern New York. However, the more time we spend outside, the more we have to be on the lookout for certain insects and the diseases they carry. These pests, such as mosquitoes and ticks, continue to threaten the safety of those in our communities.
