However, before we wrap up another great summer in Central and Northern New York, there is still lots of fun to be had, and that includes the Great New York State Fair. Last year, the Great New York State Fair drew a record 1,161,912 visitors and this year is expected to be the best yet.

Group Seeks To Display Positive Messages In Oswego

At Monday night’s Physical Services Committee meeting, Jamie Leszczynski, of SAVE CNY, requested to display positive messages and posters throughout Oswego on September 1. SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education), works to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and serves as a resource to those touched by suicide.
