Although school won’t officially resume until September, nearly 100 Hannibal Central School District students recently participated in a week-long summer learning session. The annual “Warrior Week,” held at Dennis M. Kenney Middle School, was open to students in kindergarten through 12th grades.

Fulton Man Arrested After Five-Hour Standoff

On Sunday (August 12) at 5:14 a.m., Fulton Police were dispatched to a resident in the 600 block of Ontario Street for the report of a domestic dispute. After approximately five hours, the suspect exited the apartment peacefully and was taken into custody without further incident. He is being held at FPD pending arraignment on several charges.

Oswego Health Hosts MASH Camp

Staff from Oswego Health shared the skills they use every day, from suturing to CPR and life-saving techniques, with students entering the eighth and ninth grades as part of facility’s summertime MASH Camp. The camp, also known as Medical Academy of Science and Health, is a two-day experience that exposes the youths to careers in the healthcare field.
