This sweet young lady, about two years old, is just looking for someone to snuggle up with all day long (or whenever you’re available). She can be a little shy at first, but she comes up to the office staff for pets and nice scratches behind her ears. She is independent and quiet, not one of those pushy attention seeking cats.

SUNY Oswego physics faculty member Carolina Ilie and 2015 graduate Zachariah Schrecengost recently co-authored their second physics text together, "Electrodynamics: Problems and Solutions." Julia D'Rozario (not pictured), a 2016 SUNY Oswego graduate, provided illustrations for that book and its predecessor, "Electromagnetism: Problems and Solutions."

The Oswego County Historical Society will host a history walking tour of the Kingsford Historic District in Oswego on September 16. The tour will be guided by Justin White, board trustee of the historical society and Oswego County Historian. It will highlight the history of neighborhood and its surrounding residential homes. Pictured is the Kingsford Professional Building, originally built as a stable in the late 19th century for the Kingsford family.
