OPD Peacefully Resolves ‘Domestic Incident’

Today (October 28), at approximately 2:30 p.m., Oswego Police responded to an East Fourth Street residence regarding a third party report of a possible domestic incident in which one of the subjects may have been armed and possibly suicidal. Following a brief interview, the subject surrendered to police who took the adult male subject into custody under the NYS Mental Hygiene Law.

Mayor Woodward: Lake Neatahwanta Dredging Will Move Along ‘Much Faster’

In the third year of dredging Lake Neatahwanta, Fulton Mayor Ronald Woodward Sr. said that the process will move along “much faster” now as new equipment and training has been secured. The city of Fulton purchased a dredge from Groh Dredging, the contractor that had been performing the dredging in the first years of the project.
