Oswego County Offices Will Be Closed On Dec. 25, Jan. 1

All Oswego County offices, solid waste transfer stations, the Bristol Hill Landfill and the Materials Recovery Facility will be closed on Friday, Dec. 25, for Christmas Day, and Friday, Jan. 1, for New Year’s Day.

Oswego County Legislature Cuts Budget, Property Tax Rate

Oswego County legislators adopted a 2021 budget Thursday night, Dec. 10, that lowers the generic tax rate $7.69 to $7.48 per $1,000 of assessed property value. The overall budget is reduced by $4.9 million.
